Since the adoption of the 1975 Reservoirs Act Williamson Technical Services Limited has been increasingly active in the field of establishing monitoring systems to identify dam deformations.
Current systems used by the company can achieve accuracies of 1mm over a range of 800 meters and 0.5mm up to ranges of 100 meters.
Over 25 years experience of the periodic monitoring of dams has enabled data collection and results systems to be developed that can be readily adapted to new projects.
Experience includes, establishing control systems, monitoring procedures and result databases at the following locations.
